For English it’s not 1000, but 101. Or doesn’t the /a/ in “and” (or “a hundred”, 100) count?!

ISN’T THIS CUTE?!
The Chinese (in blue) was originally the only thing written on the board in my physics lab classroom. It was there for a few weeks, and no one knew who wrote it or what it meant.
I was bored one day in lab, so I went up there and wrote “What does that mean?” (referring to the Chinese) in russian.
Then me and a few other people began adding languages, mostly saying the same thing (except for the spanish) “what does that say?”/”what does that mean?” in German, Swedish, Spanish, Hebrew, and Polish.
After I went home that week, a friend told saw my picture, and told me that the grammar in the Spanish sentence was wrong. We also found out that the Chinese meant “physics”.
I came back a week later, and the writing was still there. The grammar in the Spanish phrase had been corrected though.
After my explanation, two more people went up and wrote “what does that say?” in Georgian and Japanese. I also added that the chinese means “physics”.
Apparently the Spanish was still wrong (according to a friend), so I added in his correction before leaving.
And tada! :D
Added in Finnish and Dutch!
technically it doesn’t say what does that say in Japanese…..
I don’t know any Japanese - a classmate wrote it after I had explained what we had been writing. What does it say?
Not everything on there is exactly “what does that say”? There are variants like “What does that mean?”, etc. The Spanish and Finnish are definitely different.
何ですか？= What is it?
Thank you :)
